Philippians 3 – The Example of Paul & The Astrological Years

1 12 Finger Pointing UpIt’s hard for me to believe that anyone would spend their life creating or studying such nonsense, but there are a lot of people that do that.  I don’t say this only because I believe in Jesus, I say it because it is absolute foolishness.

At the beginning of the article it says:

Some astrologers believe the changes upon Earth are caused and marked by the influences of the given astrological sign, associated with the Age, while other astrologers do not follow the causative model and believe it is a matter of synchronicity.

Astrologers number one are way off because the Zodiac has nothing to do with anything  other than messing up people’s minds.

Astrologers number two are also incorrect, because “synchronicity” means:

2 1The simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.

Everything that happens on earth, in outer space, in the ocean, everywhere is controlled by God.  And in a since you could say that everything is in sync, but not everything is in order.  Everything that takes places occurs due to His purpose.

“…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Rom 8:28).

Some people say that we are in the Year of Pisces and others say we are in the Year of Aquarius, the year I’m in is 2014 and I believe the Year of the Lord is coming in my life time, not anytime soon though.

If you agree with me on what I have said about the above article (if you don’t that’s okay, it’s human to err, you’ll catch on)  you are going to howl tomorrow when we talk about…

Philippians 3
The Example of Paul

1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

3 12

2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Beware of the Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Rick Warren, Billy Graham, Oprah, etc.

3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

5 97 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

3:7-14 – Paul’s confidence in Jesus.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

4 9

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

3:12-14 – the Christian life is like a race, elsewhere Paul uses athletic imagery in a similar way (1 Cor 9:24-27; 1 Tim 6:12; 2 Tim 4:7-8; cf. Matt 24:13; Heb 12:1).

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

7 6 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

“Let us walk by the same rule” – put into practice the truth they have already comprehended.  We are responsible for the truth we currently possess.

If you don’t speak the truth, even though you believe in Jesus, you have nothing.  For example, Rick Warren believes in Jesus, but he tells lies, he agrees with the Muslim’s that God and Allah is one and the same.

17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

6 6

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

3:18-19 – see v. 16

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 Who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

The Astrological Years

8 Astrology
Astrology is the work of the devil.

An astrological age is a time period which astrology postulates parallel major changes in the development of Earth’s inhabitants, particularly relating to culture, society and politics.

There are twelve astrological ages corresponding to the twelve zodiacal signs in western astrology. At the completion of one cycle of twelve astrological ages, the cycle repeats itself.

Astrological ages occur because of a phenomenon known as the precession of the equinoxes. One complete period of this precession is called a Great Year or Platonic Year of about 25,920 years.

There are two broad approaches about the effects upon the world due to the astrological ages.

Some astrologers believe the changes upon Earth are caused and marked by the influences of the given astrological sign, associated with the Age, while other astrologers do not follow the causative model and believe it is a matter of synchronicity.

Many astrologers believe that the Age of Aquarius has arrived recently or will arrive in the near future. On the other hand, some believe that the Age of Aquarius arrived up to five centuries ago, or will not start until six centuries from now.

Despite all references provided by various sources, astrologers cannot agree upon exact dates for the beginning or ending of the ages.

Age of Cancer: 8640 to 6480 BC

9 Mandala
Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the Universe.
The basic form of most mandalas is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point.

Each gate is in the general shape of a T. Mandalas often exhibit radial balance.

The term is of Hindu origin. It appears in the Rig Veda as the name of the sections of the work, but is also used in other Indian religions, particularly Buddhism.

In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts, as a spiritual teaching tool, for establishing a sacred space, and as an aid to meditation and trance induction.

In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe.

Cancer rules: Food, Agriculture, Houses and house building, Community, Motherhood, and Family.

This age hosted the Neolithic Revolution and the invention of agriculture around the world. The traditional dates for the Neolithic Revolution are 9000 to 6000 B.C., a rather exact fit for the Age of Cancer.

The traditional area for this new activity was the Near East. This was part of a matrix that included Eastern and Mediterranean Europe, and the Nile river valley.

Another agricultural matrix began as early as 9000 B.C. in Southeast Asia, up into central China. New Guinea and the Rajasthan desert area of India was also a part of this matrix.

And in the New World agriculture was being invented from the Yucatan in Mexico and Central America down the west coast of South America through Peru. Houses were built and people settled into permanent year around communities, giving up the roving life of the hunter-gatherer.

Scores of communities were settled throughout the Near East, leaving us ample record of their lives in the dry air of the deserts of the Middle East.

There is little record of community living in the wetter climates of Southeast Asia or Central America, where building materials likely had rotted away thousands of years ago.

Age of Gemini: 6480 to 4320 BC

Gemini rules: Movement, Trade, Communication, Hand/eye coordination, the Mind and ideas.

The Age of Gemini opened up new vistas for exploration and interaction across large distances.

Across the Near East we see an explosion of crafts industries with huge stone and bone industries creating a wide variety of articles, a statue industry and a bread industry.

Gemini Age man began using his mind and his hands to create a more interesting life for himself.

The ceramics industry is the most remarkable of these industries in part because of the decorations used. Although ceramics were created before this age, it was right at 6500 B.C. that they exploded both in excellences of craftsmanship, and in the sheer numbers of vessels created.

Almost immediately, everywhere, they were created with abstract decorations on them that led, over time, to beautiful polychrome glazes with a wide variety of abstract symbols for decoration. Ceramics also appeared in Europe, the artic fringe of Eurasia, in China and the Malay Peninsula.

10 Mandala of Astrological
Mandala of Astrological Protection.
The Srid-pa-ho mandala is a powerful ancient image based upon traditional Tibetan calendar charts which follow natural cycles of time, the seasons and the planets, it is associated with enhancing physical and emotional balance.

Offering protection from negative influence arising from seasonal, planetary or cosmic phenomena, the mandala has the protector deities of Manjushri, Avalokitesvara and Vajrapani, top center, adding their powers of wisdom and compassion.

These symbols, such as crosses and swastikas carried a new Gemini religious symbolism with them. Art during the Age of Cancer was representational.

As we enter the Age of Gemini abstract symbolism quickly replaced representational art as the predominant form of art. Abstract imagery carried much more meaning and information for the Gemini mind.

Essentially all of our modern language families were created here. Experts agree that the proto-Indo-European language was begun around 5000 B.C. This is the parent language of almost all of the languages spoken today.

Other experts indicate that a parent to the Chinese language was created around 4800 B.C. in China.

Experts at what?  Confusion?  Stupidity?

The Gemini individual began to explore beyond the boundaries of the local village, and over the course of the age a huge trading network was created by 5000 B.C. that extended from the Mediterranean Basin through the Near East and up into southern Russia.

In Gemini fashion the main commodity traded was information and knowledge.

A similar trade network was created in the Archaic Culture in North America that extended out from the New England area west to the Yellowstone and south to the Caribbean.

Age of Taurus: 4320 TO 2160 B.C.

Taurus rules: Money and wealth, Monumental building, Permanence, Solidity.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of Jews were Taurus.

Sometime after 4800 B.C., the U’baid people in Mesopotamia moved out onto the harsh, resource poor river plains of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

There they invented money as a means of trade, and invented banks and banking to support the use of money.

11 During birth
During birth the horoscope of the child is immediately calculated by astrologers. Woodcut from J. Rueff, De conceptu et generatione hominis, 1587.

By the time astrology became “religion and science at the same time” – the oldest known personal horoscope is from the year 410 B.C. – it had already undergone a long period of development.

Astrology is not just a phenomenon of European religious history; it is to be found in all the great religions and in all cultures – in more or less complex forms.

Today astrology is still a constituent part of a religiously influenced way of life in many parts of the world.

Whether in India or South America, even some scientists first consult an astrologer before embarking on longer official trips.

Their trading villages were remade into market towns. Their banks soon began to float loans and collect interest.

Bartering gave way to the development of a money economy, along with business and banking, and the use of copper as a universal medium of exchange, the first known coinage.

Money was deposited into these early U’baid banks to be applied, much as we do today, towards projects of civic improvement, which would in turn make more money. By 3500 BC these new U’baid towns were rich with imported goods.

A whole new basis for community living was created. Indeed the sole archaeological indicator for growth during this age was the incremental increases in wealth found at these and other sites around the world.

The religions of this age were bound to the ideal of money and wealth. The gods showed their favor in a very Taurus way by showering wealth and goods on those who worshipped them. The temples became the center for the collection and redistribution of wealth, and priests were the administrators of this activity.

The earliest examples of writing were temple business accounts listing what was coming into the temple warehouses, and what was being given out.

Although writing is traditionally a Gemini quality, we can see here that Taurus was solidifying Gemini thought, in a very practical Taurus way, into a permanent Taurus business record.

Now I’m convinced that the Jews are Taurus, they will take anything they can get.

Adolf Hitler killed the Jews because he grew up around them and despised them because they were thieves.  Many people hate Hitler for killing so many Jews, look at what they are doing now.

Taurus spiritual thought revolved around the ideal of creating heaven here on earth by building cities in a hierarchal fashion to mimic the perceived structure of heaven. Towns were built with their walls facing the four directions.

Temples were built as the center of town. Over the course of centuries they were constantly being rebuilt over the old foundation.

Eventually these temples grew into huge mountainous pyramid structures called ziggurats in Mesopotamia that could be seen from miles away. The Egyptian pyramids were built at this same time. New finds in Peru have found huge pyramids being built there at this same time. In this same process towns grew to become cities.

Cultures began to organize themselves along hierarchical lines as well, creating class structure. India’s caste system began at this time. Most calendars give starting dates around 3000 B.C. as they began to organize time and the year around the equinox and solstice dates.

Holy days were set so that a natural cycle of rituals marked the passage of time. In this way time was honored as hierarchical and sacred.

12 Kundurru
Kundurru (boundary stone) of the Babylonian king Melichipak II. with sun, moon and Venus.
The myths of the star-gods describe which functions and capabilities these gods possess.

A short outline of these characteristics looks something like: the sun embodies life and light also beyond death, but also the death-bringing drought.

The moon is beneficial for life and growth in general; Ishtar-Venus embodies as evening star, love, and as morning star, struggle; Nergal-Mars, war and death; Nabu-Mercury, knowledge and science; Marduk-Jupiter, priestly and worldly rule; and Nimib-Saturn, difficult (field)work and everything difficult and transitory.

The Scorpio opposite energy can clearly be seen here as well. Scorpio rules death and rebirth. The Pharaohs of Egypt and the ruling Ens of the various city-states in Mesopotamia were buried in huge monumental tombs.

With them they took much of their wealth and usually all of their servants so that they would be comfortable, in Taurus fashion, in the afterlife. Similar burial practices were found in the Archaic Culture in North America dating to this same period.

Age of Aries: 2160 to 0 B.C.

Aries rules: War and fighting, Challenge, Individuality, Independence.

Aries marks an important shift in world consciousness. The older matriarchal ideal of Taurus monumental solidarity, where everyone had his or her defined place in society, was the antithesis of the incoming Arian ideal of individualism.

Around 2500 B.C. mythologists note a worldwide mythic solarization happening where the new young hero god rises up and defeats the older goddess, thus inaugurating a new order in heaven.

Patriarchal paradigms replaced matriarchal paradigms everywhere, and men took over the running of society. Hero mythologies were created honoring these new gods and the masculine warrior ideal.

Aries brought with it war on a huge scale. This age was one of continual fighting. Empires were created. Sargon of Akkad created the first known military empire around 2300 B.C.

Following him, conquest became the norm, with a long list of empires being created through conquest, and then being conquered by another, until the rise of Rome in the first century B.C.

The ancient Greeks came to epitomize this energy and their Olympic religion glorified the warrior mentality.

Gods and goddesses fought with each other. They chose sides in human wars so that they could take part in the glorious human battles being fought.

14 Here Saturn
Here Saturn and his children, performs official duties by farmer, craftsman, banker etc.
An important point concerning the acceptance of Hellenistic astrology among ancient scholars is also its compatibility with the geocentric world view of Greek natural science and cosmology.

Claudius Ptolemy (100-176 A.D.) attempted, in his astrological text “Tetrabiblos,” to adapt the divinatory astrology in the Egyptian tradition to the natural-scientific world view by leaving out all references to revelations and limiting himself completely to a sober presentation.

But no contradiction arose thereby, for Aristotle, whose scientific authority in cosmological questions remained unchallenged until the early modern period, likewise saw gods in the luminous stars whose effects reach beyond the ether into the sublunar world.

Marcus Manilius reports that it was gods who had inspired the priests on the Euphrates and on the Nile to their knowledge of the laws of the cosmos. Stoic influence is clearly recognizable in Manilius’ astrological world view.

The Biblical Old Testament is an Aries tale. It was first written down around the 7th century B.C., well into the Age of Aries.

Now how would they know this unless they were there or maybe they have been channeling the dead, they probably channel the Wright Brothers because they can’t be wrong.

Although God is said to be a loving God, references to the older Taurus age mentality, he is portrayed in the written account as stern, jealous, and vindictive. In Aries fashion he is fighting for his own ascendancy over rival gods.

He is pictured as a general leading his army of “Chosen People” in conquest of the “Promised Land” of Canaan. Those who do not follow his commands or commandments are punished or threatened with punishment for insubordination. He is often portrayed as smiting the enemies of his chosen.

This is correct, but the insubordination isn’t explained, which is something a liar or politician would do when they’re trying to pull a fast one.

The insubordination was that the people worshiped false gods which is the same thing as worshiping God’s archaeologist’s enemy, the devil.

They ignored God except when they were in a bind, they got what they deserved.  Well no, they deserved much worse.

In China, the militaristic Shang Dynasty overran the peaceful Lung Shan culture around 1850 B.C. inaugurating a long history of warfare. They were in turn overrun by the more powerful Chou Dynasty in 1122 B.C.

Recent finds in Peru have unearthed a city called Casma dating to 1500 B.C. The pyramid temples have images of war and fighting carved into their walls.

Age of Pisces: 0 B.C. to 2160

Pisces rules: Transcendence, Spirituality, Contact with Other Worlds, Fear, Prophets and Prophecy, Dissolution, Dreams, Illusion, and Lack of Direction.

The Age of Pisces has been an age of great world religions (false religions), starting as early as 700 B.C. The eras of an age mark a transition point where new energies are felt that lead to new directions that will welcome in the new age.

This happens about 700 years before the new age begins. We notice that around 700 BC the Prophetic Revolution began the process of changing a local Semitic religion into the great world religion of the Hebrews.

Around 500 B.C. Lao Tzu introduced Taoism to China. The Buddha was doing the same thing in India. Hinduism was also undergoing a Pisces shift.

The warrior gods such as Agni were demoted while Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were all elevated in importance as gods of a new transcendent reality beyond the mortal relative world. These were all religions of transcendence.

Judaism led to Christianity and Buddhism spread to encompass most of the Orient. These religions spread beyond national boundaries to become the first multinational organizations in history.

Wrong again, Judaism did not lead to Christianity.  The people of Antioch  called Jesus’ disciples Christians after His resurrection and ascension because all the disciples lived the life that Jesus taught them to live.

13 The old Egyptian
The old-Egyptian zodiac of Dendera with the Gods of the decades.
The zodiac was populated by a multitude of gods and demons which were not, or not only, connected to the planets or fixed stars, but which occupied the systematically divided areas of the sky.

These gods and demons then became decisive for humans when the sun passed through their particular region of the sky. But with this the interpretation of horoscopes became a very complicated affair.

For every point through which the sun passed was determined by at least three gods or demons.

The deity of a zodiac sign reigned a whole month, namely as long as the sun was passing through this sign. At the same time, the sun passed through one of the three decades of a sign of the zodiac, each one lasting for ten days.

And on top of that were the single degrees which the sun passed through in a day.

The way, the Egyptian astrology is familiar with further divisions of a region with its particular gods – the so-called borders: divisions of variously large degrees – so that actually more than three gods determine the quality of a particular time of day.

Buddhism did not start after Christianity, Buddhism was here before Jesus was.

National governments became theocracies, the secular arm of society working at the behest of the spiritual paradigm they represented.

Europe was the Holy Roman Empire, a Christian empire following Christian precepts. Islam was created at the outset to also be a religious Moslem governing body. The same was true for Tibet. It was a spiritual nation.

It’s never surprises me that whenever something evil or just a flat out lie about Christianity/Jesus the Catholics are involved.

The Holy Roman Empire was not a Christian Empire, the only Christian Empire there is is Jesus Christ, the head of the church and the church is Christians.

Islam is very similar to Judaism and Judaism was also here before Jesus – they are both evil.

War was turned inward in this age. The enemy was no longer just an external force or challenge. It was internal, and there was seen to be a great battle between good and evil, God and Satan that was constantly tearing at our souls.

The Church battled amongst itself while trying to create a set dogma for correct belief. The Inquisition was established to weed out incorrect thought and belief. Women were persecuted, tortured, and burned for the irrational belief that they were pagan and associates of Satan.

This is true, people were executed for being pagans or associates of Satan, but they were not pagans or Satanist, they were Christians and the executioners were pagans and Satanists.

Pisces fear rose to great heights to overshadow the compassionate and loving message of Christ. As a sad result Christianity ended up becoming the most violent institution in history.

I just can’t believe the garbage written in this article.  The last sentence directly above makes no sense.  Christians, true one, not just those that say they are Christians (like most Jews, the Mormons, the Catholics, Rick Warren, Oprah, etc.) are like Jesus and He was not violent.

In the Orient fear was focused in a different but equally Piscean direction. The great Satan was replaced by the idea that this earthly existence, the Wheel of Life, was a prison, and that we must transcend or escape to a higher heavenly awareness in order to be happy and free. Pisces rules imprisonment and escapism.

That’s incorrect, first off there is nothing great about Satan, unless murder, homosexuality, child molestation, lying, stealing etc., is great.

The great wars of this age were religious wars. The Crusades were fought to wrest the Holy Land from the Muslims creating a basic militaristic division between Muslim and Christian that still affects us today.

There has always been a division between Christians and the Muslims and everybody else because Christians worship Jesus, the Muslim’s worship Allah, who might be related to Rick Warren.

15 Claudius Ptolemy
Claudius Ptolemy as a father of the astrology. Woodcut of E. Schön (1515).
Astrology lived on in a hardly modified form in the Middle Ages. In the sixth century A.D., Rhetorios appears in the Byzantine Empire as a compiler of the astrological tradition, following especially the Egyptian-Hellenistic line.

An important impulse for the astrology of the Middle Ages is given by various Arabian astrologers who, under Muslim rule, further develop the “mundane” astrology (concerning meteorological and social events).

In the year 762, the Jewish astrologer Messahalla, who converted to Islam, determined the date of Baghdad’s founding.

In the 8th century A.D., Al Kindi and his disciple Abumassar appear. They are concerned with mundane problems as well, with the so-called “Great Conjunctions,” which were supposed to give information about important political events and developments concerning the entire human race.

The astrology of the Middle Ages reaches the heart of Europe, in addition to the Byzantine line especially by way of the Arabian science which is taught in Toledo and Salamanca, and experiences a renewed flourishing with the Renaissance.

Age of Aquarius:
2160 to 4320

Aquarius rules: Brotherhood, Utopia, Genius and Science, Immortality, Hopes Dreams and Wishes, Revolution, Electricity.

Although we are not in the Age of Aquarius yet, we can see what is happening historically as we close in on that age. 700 years prior to Aquarius takes us back to the fifteenth century. This was the time of our Renaissance.

Science rose up to rival religion as the new Aquarian paradigm. Along with this was a new focus on humanism and the human potential.

In addition, the Aquarius Era was from 1800 to 1980. This era saw the Industrial Revolution and the revolutionary advances of the Twentieth Century. Science and technology have revolutionized our world.

…the Year of Pisces and Aquarius.
