XI 2. AngelsFor by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” (Col 1:16).

“…an innumerable company of angels” (Heb 12:22).

‘And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying” (Lk 2:13).

“And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.  And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” (2 Kg 6:17).

XI 3. Angel“Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord” (2 Pet 2:11).

“Bless the LORD, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word” (Ps 103:20).

“Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire” (Ps 104:4).

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him” (Lk 22:42-43).

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Heb 1:14).
